*Please thoroughly read my policies below before booking an appointment*

- ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF BOOKING POLICIES
*By booking you agree to the booking policies and cancellation terms of The Monarch Nail Studio. No exceptions are to be made to any policies or cancellation terms. If for any reason you do not abide by my policies I hold the right to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

- BOOKING FEES
A NON-REFUNDABLE, NON-TRANSFERABLE* booking fee of 50% (*Non-transferable to another person - must be redeemed by client booking) must be paid to secure your appointment. This goes towards your total service price and the remaining is to be paid the day of your appointment. If for any reason you have cancelled your appointment within the notice period, your booking fee does NOT get refunded, however can be used as a credit for future appointments.

NO SHOWS/CANCELLATIONS
No shows/no notification of not being able to attend your appointment will result in you being charged the full amount of your service, this must be paid before you are able to book again. If you no show more than once, you will be blacklisted from The Monarch Nail Studio and will be unable to book again.

Cancellations made within 12 hours or less will incur a full charge of service to cover the loss of business, however if your slot can be filled, only the deposit will be forfeited.

Cancellations made with 24 hours notice before your appointment will result in your booking fee being forfeited and a new booking fee must be paid for a new appointment. Cancellation fees are charged regardless of circumstance, as we are an appointment based business, if we are not given a reasonable amount of time to fill your appointment it results in a significant loss for our business. By booking you authorise your card to be charged any fees.

CHANGES TO APPOINTMENTS
Changes or cancellations to your appointment require at least 48 hours’ notice. If you are needing to cancel or reschedule, provided you have given at least 48 hours notice, your booking fee can be transferred to a new appointment.
Appointments can be rescheduled twice, any more than this your booking fee will be forfeited, and a new booking fee is required to be paid to book again.

- CHANGES TO SERVICE
Any changes to services must be made with at least 48 hours notice, I can be contacted directly to make any changes. If you decide to not receive your art or other add ons on the day of your appointment and sufficient notice of change has not been provided, you will be required to still pay the full fee of your original appointment as this time has been set aside for you.

- AFTER HOURS FEES
You acknowledge that appointments booked before 8am and booked/run after 6pm incur a $10 surcharge. (e.g., 1 hour appointment booked at 5:30pm). Appointments booked on Public holidays will incur a $20 surcharge. (Please make sure you are adding these fees on prior to booking or they will automatically be added).
- PUNCTUALITY

BRIDGEMAN DOWNS CLIENTS:
Please arrive on time for your appointment, if you’re early please wait in your vehicle until your appointment time. Please do not knock or wait at our door.

NEWSTEAD CLIENTS:
Please arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your appointment.

I have a 10 minute grace period, after this your appointment will be cancelled and charged in full.
PLEASE NOTE: that if you are running late to your appointment this will make me run behind, if you have an extended appointment I will complete what I can with the remaining time but FULL CHARGES will still apply for the initial appointment you have booked.

- GUESTS
Guests and plus ones are NOT permitted to your appointment as I provide a one-on-one service. This includes children. To ensure both parties are comfortable, please come to your appointment alone. I reserve the the right to cancel your appointment on the spot if my policy isn't abided by and full payment of your appointment will still be required.

- ILLNESSES
You agree that you will not attend your appointment whilst you are sick, please reschedule your appointment if you are unwell. Please give us as much notice if possible if needing to reschedule or cancel due to sickness, we will work as best as we can with you, however unfortunately there are no exceptions to cancellation fees charged if not enough notice is supplied - insufficient notice given means we are unable to fill your spot.

- REFILL POLICY (MY WORK)
PLEASE SEE FOREIGN REFILL POLICY BELOW.
You will be required to book the correct refill period that it has been since your service (2-3 weeks or 4 weeks +). If you have booked the incorrect refill period your booking will automatically be updated to the correct refill service.

- FOREIGN ACRYLIC REFILLS
I do service foreign acrylics refills however if your previous set is unsatisfactory resulting in repairs, a $10 fee will be applicable to your appointment. Please notify me if you have a foreign set before you book so I can inspect your set and alert you immediately if an extra charge is applicable. Please note, the extra charge is for my time spent fixing your set if it is not up to standard as working with foreign salons work can be difficult to rebalance. If in doubt, please have your old set removed and book a full set with me when you have bare nails as I do NOT remove other salons acrylic work.

- FOREIGN BIAB REFILLS
I DO NOT refill foreign BIAB sets, however, if your previous set used is the same brand as what we use (The Gel Bottle) we are able to refill your set. Please book in a removal in addition to your service if you have a foreign BIAB set on.
PLEASE NOTE: we do not remove hard gel (gel in a pot).

- PRIVACY
If you are visiting my home studio, please remember this is my place of residence, please be respectful of my privacy, under no circumstances is my home address to be given out or advertised.

- PRICE INCREASES
You acknowledge that a price increase may take effect and price increases are subject to take change at any time.

- REPAIRS AND SERVICE SATISFACTION
I do not offer refunds on my services, if in the unlikely event you are unhappy with your nails during the service, please voice it to me immediately so I can accommodate to your liking. Every service is catered for every individual personally so please speak up if there is anything you’d like modified. Once you have walked out the door it means you are satisfied with your service. Any repairs will be offered complimentary within the first 2 days following your appointment.

- AFTERCARE
Please take care of your nails and oil your cuticles daily, they will only last well if you take care of them. Wear gloves where possible if you come in contact with excessive water or chemicals as this can cause damage to your nails and cause lifting. Please don’t be rough with your nails, use them as tools, chew them or pick/fidget with them as this can lead to lifting which then moisture gets trapped in between your nails causing infections, permanent damage and/or of loss of acrylic enhancement. Please note that wear and tear is normal and colour may chip slightly due to everyday use. I am not held responsible for damage due to everyday wear, client picking nails, lifting or loss of nails due to carelessness and/or not maintaining refills, infections/fungus due to excess moisture trapped in nails from fidgeting which causes a gap in-between the acrylic and natural nail.

- REACTIONS/ALLERGIES
In some rare cases allergies/contact dermatitis can be resulted from this service. If this arises, you will notify The Monarch Nail Studio and consult a GP (if necessary) at your own expense. You acknowledge that we are not held accountable for any allergic reactions you may encounter. By proceeding with your service with no patch test (patch test can be requested), we are not liable for any reactions.

- PAYMENT
Cash payments accepted (correct tender preferred, no change given), or eftpos payments available.

This is a non-refundable service, by booking you acknowledge that you have read and fully agreed to and understand these policies and understand no exceptions are to be made regardless of circumstances.

Please ensure before booking you have read, understood and are happy to abide by these policies. We hold the right to cancel your appointment with necessary fees applicable if policies are not abided to.
